Recently, I was with an acquaintance who was busy scrolling and suddenly looked up and told me that a certain (non-political) thing had just happened. My phone was handy, so I checked it. It wasn’t true and I said so. The response? “Well, maybe you’ll see that it IS true.”
And there you have it. Our country. Deception has gone mainstream. It has become a powerful force. Intoxicating. Viral. Promotion of false things is deliberate. It’s fool’s gold.
“I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psa. 27:13 AMP
I think there’s one thing the deceivers haven’t taken into consideration, and that’s God. I think he’s more of a lover than a hater, but he detests a lying tongue* so the deceivers aren’t on solid ground. They might rise up for a while, but truth will prevail in the long run. Let’s not lose heart.
