ZESTING

In full disclosure, I was looking for a “z” word to round out my book on thriving.
I came across “zest,” which works out just fine.
To live with zest means to keenly relish it, heartily enjoy it,
and approach it with complete and utter gusto.

Sort of the way I feel about a zesty feast.

You might wonder why I chose the topic of thriving to write about.
People often write about topics they’ve mastered.
Think world-class chefs writing cookbooks.
But that’s not me. I’ve written this book not because I’m a great cook (metaphorically-speaking),
but because I want to thrive. Some people just seem outrageously zesty…
and I want what they’ve got.

Thriving is both a choice and a gift.
We can practice a thriving life…
and we can accept a thriving life.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” ~ Psalm 34:8
