“Those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31
I’ve got a situation in life right now. (Don’t we all? And don’t worry. I don’t have leprosy or anything.) Anyway, in this case, I feel like God is saying, “You rest. I’ve got this.” I don’t always feel that way. Sometimes I know there’s something I’m supposed to do, but right now, I’m to wait. I’ve been musing on that scripture (above) so an old song popped into my head. It’s called “The Eagle Song.” Link below.
“I reach for the eternal one. Creation he was waiting to renew His purpose in me
He said this is where life begins. I made your spirit to glide on the wind.”
