I just read an article in Axios called “Chain-Reaction Chaos.” It brought it all home to me. Massive societal upheaval in the US could be right around the corner. (And I’m not one to get freaked out by Y2K-type things.)

But it’s likely true–AI (which even the creators themselves fear), the president’s likelihood of messing with the midterms, World War III.

I sense we’re all on edge, but are we preparing? And how does one prepare for that anyway, besides changing our passwords and diversifying our investments? I decided to re-read Matthew 24 and 1 Peter 4 for the hundredth time. I’m not saying the next few days or years are how it all ends, but I found answers in these passages anyway. Among other things, besides not believing the false Christs who will pop up and dupe many Christians, we’re to “be ready” and “continue to do good.”

What this looks like for me is clinging to the teachings of (the real) Christ more than ever.
