Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro wrote a book called The Right Side of History: How Reason and Moral Purpose Made the West Great.
And last night, the president promised $5,000 to every American if the GOP wins the mid-terms. Just one question. Is that reason?
Contrary to what you might think, I don’t have much trouble with conservative values or liberal values. Our country has always ebbed and flowed and…become great. But I have a lot of trouble with unreasonableness that preys on vulnerable people.
Do we want to vote for the unreasonable and morally depraved? They’re on both sides. There are plenty to choose from. Here’s what God said in Isaiah 1:16-18a. “Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord.”
In other words, let’s talk. Be reasonable. “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” ~ Jesus
